A DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem with two 1 Gbps Ethernet ports for gigabit internet plans
The Hitron CODA is a DOCSIS 3.1 cable modem built for residential broadband plans up to 1 Gbps. It connects to the coaxial line and provides two 1 Gbps Ethernet ports for a router, mesh system or wired device. The unit has no built-in Wi-Fi, so a separate wireless router is required for wireless coverage.
Your cable provider must support DOCSIS 3.1 and the modem is certified for Comcast Xfinity, Charter Spectrum, Cox Gigablast, CableOne Sparklight, Cogeco Breezeline, Zito Media, Astound, Grande, RCN and Wave. It will not work with AT&T, Verizon, CenturyLink, DSL providers, DISH, DirecTV or any bundled voice service. Using both Ethernet ports at the same time requires a second IP address from the ISP.
The modem runs passively with no internal fan, so it adds no audible noise to the room. Power draw is low and the compact chassis stays cool during continuous operation. A coaxial cable and power adapter are included for a straightforward three-step setup.

DOCSIS 3.1 enables up to 10x faster speeds than DOCSIS 3.0, allowing the modem to handle gigabit-tier plans from certified providers.
It requires a coaxial cable from the wall outlet and an Ethernet cable to a Wi-Fi router or mesh system; it has two 1 Gbps Ethernet ports.
