Product Identity

This is a 1/72 scale diecast model of a U.S. 1/4 ton military vehicle finished in desert sand. It depicts General Bernard Montgomery's transport during the 1943 Sicily campaign. The piece is made of diecast metal with plastic parts and measures 1.875 inches long. It arrives in a plastic display showcase inside the manufacturer's original unopened box.

Collector Suitability

The model suits collectors of World War II ground vehicles and 1/72 scale diorama builders who value officially licensed accuracy. It has no opening parts, so buyers wanting functional doors, hoods or steering mechanisms should look elsewhere. The fixed pose also limits use for dynamic action scenes or figures requiring vehicle interaction.

Pre-Purchase Checks

Verify that your display area can accommodate a 1.875 inch long model in a fixed showcase. Confirm the desert sand finish matches the colour palette of your existing 1/72 collection or diorama base. Ensure you do not require moving parts, as this replica is permanently sealed with no openings.

Questions about this item

What display space does the 1.875-inch length require?

The model measures about 1.875 inches long, so a small shelf or the included plastic showcase is sufficient.

Can the 1/72 scale vehicle sit beside larger-scale figures without looking out of proportion?

At 1/72 scale it matches other 1/72 military miniatures; larger figures will dwarf it.

How can I confirm the diecast metal construction feels right after unboxing?

The model should have a noticeably heavy, realistic feel from the diecast metal and plastic parts.
