hoegoa SC580X Wireless Gaming Mouse

The hoegoa SC580X is a right-handed optical gaming mouse weighing 84g. It connects through 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth or USB-C wired modes and stores profiles for up to four devices. A 500 mAh rechargeable battery provides 10 to 14 days of use at five hours per day. Switches are rated for up to 10 million clicks.

Right-handed users wanting multi-device wireless

This mouse suits right-handed users who switch between PC, laptop, Mac or tablet and want adjustable DPI without installing software on every system. The driver for macro editing and polling-rate changes only runs on Windows in 2.4 GHz or USB-C mode, so Bluetooth-only setups lose those features. Left-handed buyers and anyone needing onboard macro storage without a Windows machine should look elsewhere.

12000 DPI optical sensor with six preset steps

The sensor offers six fixed DPI levels: 800, 1600, 2400, 3200, 6400 and 12000, selectable by button or software. Polling rate can be set to 125, 500 or 1000 Hz in the Windows driver. If your workflow demands a specific DPI value outside these six steps or requires polling above 1000 Hz, this model will not match that requirement.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the SC580X is tracking correctly after setup?

Move the mouse on a flat surface and verify the cursor responds smoothly; the optical sensor supports six DPI steps (800, 1600, 2400, 3200, 6400, 12000) and three polling rates (125, 500, 1000 Hz) that can be toggled via the DPI button or driver software.

What ships with the SC580X and what must I supply?

The box includes the 84 g mouse, a USB-C charging cable and a 2.4 GHz receiver; you must provide a USB port for the receiver or wired link, and a Windows PC if you want to run the driver for macro programming.

Which DPI level should I choose for fast-paced gaming versus office work?

For fast-paced gaming use the higher steps such as 6400 or 12000 DPI with the 1000 Hz polling rate; for office work start at 800 or 1600 DPI and raise only if you need quicker cursor travel.
