Ready-to-play 1440p gaming desktop

This Hoengager system pairs an AMD Ryzen 5 9600X with a GeForce RTX 5070 12GB graphics card to deliver high-refresh 1440p performance in current titles. Six Zen 5 cores at 3.9 GHz and 16 GB of DDR5 keep the pipeline fed, while a 240 mm liquid cooler maintains CPU temperatures during extended sessions.

Sustained load behaviour

The 650 W 80+ power supply and 240 mm AIO cooler are sized for continuous gaming rather than brief bursts, so clock speeds remain stable through long matches or rendering queues. Dual-storage layout — 1 TB PCIe plus 1 TB SATA SSD — prevents thermal throttling on the primary drive by spreading write heat across two devices. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth stay active without adding measurable thermal load.

Upgrade path and fit

The AM5 motherboard offers one free DDR5 slot for a simple 32 GB memory upgrade when 16 GB becomes a bottleneck. GPU length and PSU headroom allow a future graphics card swap without rebuilding the platform. Buyers who need more than 2 TB of fast storage or a second add-in card should look at larger chassis options.

Questions about this item

How much heat and noise does the 240 mm liquid cooler and 650 W 80+ PSU produce during all-day gaming?

The 240 mm ARGB AIO liquid cooler keeps the Ryzen 5 9600X at low temperatures while running quietly, and the 650 W 80+ power supply delivers efficient power with minimal fan noise during extended sessions.

What display cable and monitor input do I need to use the RTX 5070 12 GB graphics card?

You will need a monitor with a DisplayPort or HDMI input and the matching cable; the card drives up to 100+ FPS in popular titles at high settings.

Will my existing DDR5 memory kits work alongside the installed 16 GB DDR5 module?

The motherboard has one free DDR5 slot, so you can add a matching DDR5 stick for 32 GB total; mixing speeds will run at the lower rated frequency.
