Core hardware and intended use

This Hoengager desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor with a Radeon RX 9070 16GB graphics card. The CPU runs at a 4.70 GHz base frequency and can reach 5.2 GHz, backed by 96 MB of L3 cache and 8 MB of L2 cache. Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory and a combined 2 TB of storage, split between a 1 TB PCIe drive and a 1 TB SATA drive, complete the main specification. Windows 11 is pre-installed and the system is VR ready.

Who this suits and who it does not

Builders who want a complete pink-themed gaming rig with liquid cooling and an 850 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply will find the package convenient. The single free memory slot limits future RAM expansion beyond the installed 16 GB. Buyers who need more storage capacity or additional drive bays should look at alternative configurations. The system ships without a monitor, so a display must be sourced separately.

Sustained-load behaviour

An ARGB 360 mm AIO liquid cooler handles the CPU thermal load during extended sessions, while the 850 W Gold-rated PSU provides stable power delivery. The Radeon RX 9070 16GB GPU and Ryzen 7 9800X3D maintain performance under continuous gaming or rendering workloads. Wireless Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity remain active throughout. RGB Fusion 2.0 lighting can be adjusted to match the pink chassis aesthetic.

Questions about this item

Does this desktop need a separate monitor to display the Radeon RX 9070 output?

Yes, the specifications state that a monitor is not included, so you must provide your own display with a compatible input.

Can I keep my older SATA solid-state drive and install it alongside the 1 TB PCIe and 1 TB SATA drives already fitted?

The system ships with one SATA SSD already installed; additional SATA ports on the motherboard would be required for another SATA drive.

After building, how can I confirm the Ryzen 7 9800X3D is reaching its 5.2 GHz boost clock?

Open Task Manager or a hardware-monitoring utility and watch the CPU frequency while running a demanding single-thread workload.
