Hoengager Ryzen 7 9700X Gaming Desktop

This Hoengager system pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor with a GeForce RTX 5060 graphics card. It ships with 16GB of DDR5 memory and a combined 2TB of solid-state storage split across PCIe and SATA drives. A 360mm liquid cooler and an 850W power supply support the components inside a black chassis. Windows 11 comes pre-installed.

Suits 1080p and 1440p players wanting

The eight-core CPU and 8GB GPU deliver 100-plus frame rates in many current titles at high settings. Buyers who need more video memory for 4K textures or professional rendering should look elsewhere. The single vacant DDR5 slot allows a future upgrade, but the 850W unit limits headroom for significantly larger graphics cards.

RTX 5060 with 8GB video memory decides fit

This card targets high-refresh 1080p gaming and capable 1440p performance in modern titles. If your workflow demands a larger frame buffer or you plan to drive a 4K display at ultra settings, this specification will fall short. The rest of the platform — CPU, memory and storage — is balanced around this GPU tier.

Questions about this item

What PCIe generation does the RTX 5060 use and what bandwidth limit does that set?

The RTX 5060 connects through the Ryzen 7 9700X AM5 platform which provides PCIe 5.0 lanes; the card itself operates at PCIe 4.0 speeds, capping at 16 GT/s per lane.

What clearance does the 360 mm liquid cooler need inside the case?

The 360 mm radiator requires space for three fans in a row plus tubing room; verify the case lists 360 mm front, top or rear support before ordering.

How is the 1 TB PCIe SSD seated and which step do builders often skip?

The drive slides into the M.2 slot at a shallow angle, then is pressed flat and secured with the single retention screw; the skipped step is inserting that screw after pressing the drive down.
