Indoor Industrial Wiring, Not Outdoor or Hazardous

This enclosure suits installers protecting wireways, terminals or panels in dry, non-hazardous indoor locations where dust and dripping liquids are present. It is not rated for outdoor exposure, corrosive atmospheres or areas requiring NEMA 4X or explosion-proof construction.

NEMA 12 and 13 with IP65 Rating

The combined NEMA 12, 13 and IP65 classification is the single specification that decides whether this enclosure matches the environmental protection required for the installation. Verify that rating against your project standards before ordering.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 14 in height or a different size?

This enclosure is 14 in tall and 8 in deep; choose it when your panel and wiring need that exact internal volume.

What does the NEMA 12 and 13 rating mean once the box is installed?

NEMA 12 and 13 ratings mean the enclosure protects against circulating dust, falling dirt and dripping non-corrosive liquids in indoor settings.

How does the IP65 rating limit where I can mount this enclosure?

IP65 certifies protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction, so the box suits wash-down areas and dusty indoor lines.
