This carbon-steel enclosure carries NEMA 4 and 12 ratings with an IP 66 seal. It is built for indoor or outdoor installations that need protection against water, dust and oil. The hinged cover uses a quarter-turn latch with a screwdriver slot for secure access. Grey RAL 7035 textured polyester powder coat resists corrosion in harsh environments.

Internal Volume and Mounting Limits

The interior measures 8.0 inches high by 6.0 inches wide by 3.5 inches deep, giving modest space for terminal blocks, relays or small PLCs. A 14 to 16 gauge steel shell and the included external mounting brackets support wall attachment. The 32FR93 interior panel is available separately for component mounting. Larger controllers or multiple DIN-rail rows will exceed the available depth.

Thermal Behaviour and Power Entry

The solid steel body and neoprene gasket create a sealed cavity with no venting provision. Heat from installed devices dissipates only through the enclosure walls, so high-wattage power supplies or drives can raise internal temperatures.
