The HOFFMAN ASE4X4X4 is a carbon-steel electrical enclosure measuring 4 inches high, 4 inches deep and 4 inches wide. It carries a NEMA Type 1 and IP30 rating for basic indoor protection against solid objects. The powder-coated grey finish resists corrosion in typical commercial or light-industrial settings. Mounting holes allow direct wall attachment.

Capacity and headroom

The box provides a small internal volume suited to a few terminal blocks, a miniature relay or a modest splice kit. Twelve to sixteen gauge steel walls give mechanical rigidity but limit the number and size of cable entries you can punch. It comfortably handles low-voltage control wiring; it runs out of space once conduit counts or wire fill exceed the modest cross-section.
