Sloped Top Consolet 12 in Height

The Hoffman C12C12 is a sloped top consolet designed for electrical enclosure applications. It features a carbon steel construction with a 14 gauge thickness and an ANSI 61 polyester powder finish in gray. The unit carries NEMA 12 and 13 ratings along with an IP 65 rating for protection against dust and water ingress. It is suited for industrial control and instrumentation mounting.

Verify Mounting and Rating Requirements

Confirm that a pedestal or table mounting configuration matches your installation plan before ordering. Ensure the NEMA 12 and 13 ratings align with the environmental protection needed for your specific application. Check that the IP 65 rating satisfies the ingress protection requirements of the operating environment. The enclosure includes no knockouts, so plan cable entry points accordingly.

Integrates with Pedestal and Table Builds

This consolet mounts on pedestals or tables and includes a bonding provision for electrical continuity. The hinged cover uses captive screws with a neoprene gasket to maintain the sealed rating during access. The sloped top design frees up vertical space above the enclosure for operator visibility or additional equipment placement. Standards compliance covers NEMA, UL, CSA, IEC, and cUL listings.

Questions about this item

Does the C12C12 consolet ship with mounting hardware, or must I buy brackets separately?

The enclosure includes a bonding provision for grounding; mounting hardware for pedestal or table installation is not included and must be sourced separately.

Which NEMA rating applies to this C12C12 model — 12 or 13?

This unit meets both NEMA 12 and NEMA 13 ratings, providing protection against dust, falling dirt, and non‑corrosive liquid splashing or seepage.

How does the IP65 rating translate to daily use on a factory pedestal mount?

IP65 means the hinged cover with neoprene gasket blocks dust ingress and withstands low‑pressure water jets from any direction during wash‑down.
