Trail-ready cushioning for mixed terrain

The Challenger 8 sits at the intersection of road and trail, offering smooth cushioning and confidence-inspiring traction across varied surfaces. A compression-moulded EVA midsole adds more foam underfoot than the previous version. The shoe is built for runners who want one pair for gravel, dirt and pavement.

4 mm multi-directional lugs set the grip limit

Outsole lugs are 4 mm deep and oriented for multi-directional bite on loose ground. On hard asphalt the lugs wear faster and transmit more vibration than a flat road sole. Wet rock and deep mud exceed the tread spacing, so traction drops off in those conditions.

Engineered mesh upper with printed toe cap

The upper uses 100 percent rRPET engineered mesh with a 3D screen-printed toe cap for durability. A plush collar improves lockdown while reflective details add low-light visibility. The minimal mesh construction breathes well but offers less protection against sharp trail debris than a reinforced overlay.
