160 lumen rear visibility

The Hollywood Racks AQY-0123 is a USB-C rechargeable bike tail light that delivers 160 lumens across six selectable modes. A digital battery display shows remaining charge at a glance. IPX6 waterproofing and 180-degree visibility suit daily commuters and weekend riders. Automatic brake brightening and motion-activated wake add hands-free safety.

Mounting and runtime reality

Seatpost and saddle mounts cover most standard bikes without extra hardware. Runtimes range from 14 hours on Steady to 38 hours on Single Flash, so multi-day tours need a recharge plan. Riders who want helmet integration or a permanent bolt-on mount should look elsewhere.

Brake-sensor responsiveness

The built-in accelerometer triggers brighter output the moment you decelerate, a single spec that decides whether the light matches your riding style. If instant brake reaction matters, this unit delivers; if you prefer manual mode switching only, the sensor adds no value.

Questions about this item

How long does the 160 lumen light run in Steady mode before needing a recharge?

The Steady mode provides 14 hours of runtime on a full charge.

What mounting hardware do I need to attach this tail light to my bike?

It includes a seatpost mount and also supports saddle mounting, so no extra hardware is required.

Will the auto brake sensor still work if I keep using my older mechanical brake levers?

Yes, the built-in motion sensor detects deceleration directly, so it functions independently of your brake lever type.
