Classic Ringer Bell for Cruiser Bikes

This medium-sized aluminum bell mounts to handlebars on most men's and women's beach cruisers. It provides a clear ringtone to alert pedestrians and fellow cyclists for safer riding. The silver finish offers a classic look that complements various frame styles. Installation is straightforward with included hardware.

Mechanical Operation With Zero Power Draw

The bell operates purely through a mechanical thumb lever, requiring no batteries or electrical connections. Aluminum construction keeps weight minimal while resisting corrosion from outdoor exposure. Normal use adds no perceptible drag or noise to the drivetrain. The simple mechanism eliminates electronic failure points entirely.

Upgrade From Missing Or Broken OEM Bells

This accessory replaces a missing factory bell or a cracked plastic unit that no longer rings clearly. The jump is worth it when your current setup makes no audible signal in traffic. Riders needing electronic horns or handlebar-mounted lights will need separate solutions.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the Hollywood Racks Bike Bell to my handlebars, and what step is often missed?

Slide the clamp over the handlebar, position the bell where your thumb can reach it, then tighten the included bolt securely; the step most people miss is checking clearance so the lever does not hit the grip or shifter when turned.

What part of this aluminum bell will need replacement first with regular use?

The internal striker spring can lose tension over time, softening the ring; it is not user-serviceable, so the whole bell is replaced when the tone dulls.

At what point does the classic ringer mechanism stop sounding clearly during a long ride?

Sustained vibration on rough roads can loosen the mounting bolt, causing the bell body to rotate and the striker to miss the dome; re-tightening the clamp restores the crisp tone.
