SQUALO 30 Lumens USB Taillight

The SQUALO taillight delivers 30 lumens of output with a 100m viewable range and 360° visibility for cycling safety. A smart brake sensor automatically increases brightness when decelerating. The unit is IP66 waterproof and USB rechargeable with seven selectable light modes.

Urban commuters and night riders

Cyclists who need automatic brake signalling and all-angle visibility will benefit from the brake sensor and 360° output. Riders who require higher lumen output for unlit roads or a helmet-mounted light should consider other options.

30 lumens brake-sensing output

The single specification that decides fit is the 30 lumen rating combined with the smart brake sensor. If your riding demands more than 30 lumens or does not need automatic brake lighting, this model will not match the requirement.

Questions about this item

What diameter seat post does the FJRL0920 mount fit?

The light uses a flexible strap that wraps around standard round or aero seat posts and also clamps to seat rails, so it fits a wide range of diameters without a specific millimetre limit.

How is the brake sensor calibrated on the FJRL0920, and what step do users often miss?

Hold the power button for three seconds until the indicator flashes; the unit then records the current orientation as level. Skipping this level-hold makes the brake light trigger randomly.

How do I replace the battery in the FJRL0920 when it no longer holds a charge?

The internal lithium-ion cell is not user-replaceable; when runtime drops off, the whole taillight unit is replaced under the one-year manufacturer coverage.
