Nautical lamp finial
This starfish-shaped finial tops standard table or floor lamps with an Aegean blue glass accent and antiqued metal base. It threads onto 1/4"-27 harps, the size used on 95% of lamps. The piece measures 2.5" high and 1.85" wide. It secures the shade while adding a coastal detail.
Thread fit and finish
The 1/4" opening with 27 threads per inch matches most existing harps without adapters. Antiqued metal coordinates with common harp finishes. Glass and metal construction requires no electrical work or tools. Installation is a simple hand-tighten onto the harp.
Not for non-standard harps
Buyers with lamps using metric threads, oversized harps or proprietary finial mounts cannot use this finial. It also does not suit fixtures that require a heavier weight to tension the shade. Lamps without a harp need a different mounting method.

Questions about this item
How do I install the finial on a lamp harp and what step is often missed?
Screw the 1/4"-27 threaded opening onto the harp until the Aegean Blue Glass starfish sits flush; the step often missed is confirming the harp measures 1/4" wide with 27 threads per inch before turning.
What maintenance or replacement will this finial need over time?
The antiqued metal base may develop a natural patina; occasional gentle dusting of the glass starfish preserves its sparkle, and no scheduled replacement is required unless the threads strip.
What limit appears first when the finial is used continuously on a lamp?
The 1/4"-27 thread engagement is the limiting factor; if the harp threads wear or loosen, the 2.5" high finial can wobble, so check tightness periodically.
