Cat-shaped alarm clock for children

This Homiyteck clock uses a cat-shaped design with 11 night light colours and 10 soothing sounds to teach young children when to sleep and when to wake. Visual cues such as a moon icon at 19:00 and a colour change at 07:00 replace abstract time reading. A child lock prevents accidental setting changes during the night.

Scheduled light and sound routine

Twenty minutes before the 07:00 alarm a yellow light appears, then the glow shifts to soft green when the alarm sounds. At 19:00 the moon icon lights and the ambient colour turns soft red; the night light then switches off automatically after one hour. The sleep-training schedule can be set between 19:00 and 23:00.

Mains-powered with memory backup

The unit must be plugged in to illuminate the screen and operate the lights and sounds; an internal battery only preserves time and alarm settings during a power interruption. Brightness and colour are adjustable across the 11 modes, and a night mode dims the display for darker rooms. Dimensions are 5.08 in x 1.5 in x 6.69 in.

Questions about this item

Does the clock generate noticeable heat or noise when plugged in all day?

The unit runs on mains power for the display and sounds; the battery only keeps settings in memory. No fan or active cooling is mentioned, so heat and noise should be minimal during continuous use.

What must I already own to power the display and play the 10 sounds?

You need a standard USB power source — a wall adapter or powered USB port — because the internal battery only preserves memory and does not light the screen or drive the speaker.

Will the 11 colour night light and 10 soothing sounds disturb a sibling sleeping in the same room?

Brightness is adjustable and the night light auto-off timer can be set between 19:00 and 23:00, letting you dim or silence the clock so it does not wake anyone else.
