Superior safety length
The 13.7 inch length extends past the wrist to shield fingers, hands and forearms from burns. A thick cotton liner adds comfort while the silicone exterior provides a non-slip grip. Two mitts are included for handling hot pots, pans and bakeware with both hands.
Steam resistant waterproof barrier
Unlike fabric mitts, the silicone shell blocks steam and liquid completely so hands stay dry when lifting lids or draining pasta. The material is machine washable and can be air dried for quick reuse. Flexible construction keeps dexterity high even when wet.
Heat resistance rating
The manufacturer states protection up to 450°F for general cooking and up to 500°F in highlight testing. Buyers who regularly handle cookware above 500°F need a mitt rated for higher temperatures.

Questions about this item
Should I pick the 13.7 inch or the 14.7 inch version?
The 13.7 inch pair covers fingers, hands and wrists for standard oven and grill work. The 14.7 inch option adds extra forearm reach for deeper ovens or open-flame grilling.
What does the 450°F rating mean when I am actually cooking?
The mitts protect against dry heat up to 450°F and are steam-resistant and waterproof, so hands stay safe and dry when lifting boiling pots or opening a hot oven door.
How does the silicone surface affect grip on hot cookware?
The textured non-slip silicone exterior gives a secure hold on smooth metal pans, ceramic dishes and grill grates while remaining flexible enough for precise control.
