Product identity

The Homyl 100W UV germicidal LED bulb fits standard E26 or E27 screw-in sockets and emits 254nm UVC light for surface and air sterilisation. It is intended for rooms up to 500 square feet where occupants can vacate the space during operation.

Pre-installation checks

Verify that the mains supply is 110V and that the lamp holder provided matches your fixture. Ensure the area can be completely vacated by people, pets and plants while the bulb is lit, and confirm that a battery for the remote control is available separately.

Sustained operation

The LED UVC chips are rated for up to 50000 hours of service life. During continuous use the bulb produces a noticeable odour described as similar to summer sunlight, which the manufacturer attributes to the breakdown of harmful substances, and it operates without generating an ozone smell.
