Product Identity

The HON 10500 Series back enclosure fits a 60 wide stack-on storage unit. It provides a finished rear surface for items placed near the worksurface edge. Offices seeking a coordinated laminate look will find it matches the hutch finish. It is not for buyers who need a tackable surface or a standalone storage cabinet.

Installation Notes

The enclosure attaches directly to the HON10500 Series 60 wide Stack-on Storage unit. A full-width 1-18 slot at the bottom allows cords to pass through to wall outlets. All furniture units are sold separately, so the matching hutch must be ordered at the same time. Misalignment can occur if the storage unit is not level before fastening.

Compatibility Check

Verify that the existing stack-on storage is the HON10500 Series 60 wide model before ordering. Confirm the laminate colour matches the Tan finish listed for this enclosure. Ensure the worksurface layout has clearance for the enclosure depth. The product meets ANSIBIFMA and ISTA standards and carries ScS indoor air-quality certification.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the back enclosure is properly attached to my 60 wide stack-on storage unit?

The full-width 1-18 slot at the bottom aligns with the hutch, allowing cords to route through while the laminate panel sits flush against the back for a secure fit.

What comes with the 105854LS1 and what must I purchase separately to use it?

The box contains only the nontackable back enclosure panel. The matching HON 10500 Series 60 wide stack-on storage hutch is sold separately and is required for installation.

Which finish should I select so the back enclosure matches my existing hutch?

Choose the Tan thermal-fused laminate version, which is made to match the laminate on HON 10500 Series hutches for a consistent appearance.
