Questions about this item

Will the ball-bearing slides on the HON 1526LS1 need lubrication over time?

The ball-bearing slide suspension is designed for smooth operation without a user-applied lubrication schedule.

What stops the drawer from opening further once it is used all day?

The 12 extension (3/4) limits travel to three-quarters of the drawer depth, so the stop is the built-in slide length.

Does the center drawer generate any noise or heat when left in a desk for long periods?

The drawer has no powered components, so it produces no heat and no operational noise during daily use.
