Xenon 1902 Wireless Scanner

The Honeywell Xenon 1902 is a hand-held area-imaging scanner built for point-of-sale and inventory workflows. It reads standard 1D, stacked, 2D and postal symbologies and offers limited OCR font reading. Bluetooth Class 2 v2.1 radio provides up to 33 feet of movement from the base, while the white disinfectant-ready housing supports frequent cleaning. Adaptus Imaging Technology 6.0 drives the custom sensor for extended depth of field.

Interfaces And Fit

The kit includes USB, Keyboard Wedge, RS232 and IBM 46xx (RS485) interfaces, so it connects to most legacy and current POS systems. Pitch tolerance of ±45 degree and yaw of ±65 degree give operators flexible aiming angles. Buyers who need a charging station included should look elsewhere because the station is not supplied. Teams requiring a different wireless protocol or a ruggedised form factor beyond the disinfectant housing will need another model.
