A 5 m coiled RS232 cable with a DB9 female connector for 5 V POS devices
This Honeywell CBL-020-500-C00 is a 5 m coiled cable built for point-of-sale installations. It carries a 5 V RS232 signal and terminates in a DB9 female connector for direct attachment to compatible peripherals.
The coiled construction keeps excess length tidy at the checkout while allowing flexible reach during use. A DB9 female socket mates with standard serial ports on receipt printers, scanners or other POS devices without additional adapters.
The cable is specified for 5 V RS232 signalling only and is not suited for higher-voltage serial interfaces. Its fixed 5 m length and coiled form limit deployment to stations where that reach and signal level match the host equipment.

Yes, the cable is specified for RS232 TTL 5 Volt Signal, so it carries standard 5 V logic levels between the host and the peripheral.
The DB9 female connector plugs directly into a standard DB9 male serial port on the POS terminal, PC or controller.
Align the DB9 female connector with the male port, tighten the two thumbscrews by hand, then let the coil take up slack so the cable does not pull on the pins.
