Pocket-Sized Direct Thermal Printer

The Honeywell P21 is a new direct-thermal label printer that fits in a pocket and connects to iOS or Android phones over Bluetooth. It prints black text, QR codes, barcodes, images, time stamps and borders on 15 mm wide tape without ink or toner. The rechargeable battery and 64 MB flash memory make it suitable for school, office or home labelling tasks away from a desk.

Thermals Noise and Power Draw

Direct-thermal technology produces no ink residue and runs silently during normal printing. The built-in rechargeable cell powers extended sessions without a mains adapter, and the unit stays cool to the touch thanks to the low-energy 203 DPI print head. No fan or moving cutter means there is no audible mechanical noise in everyday use.

Bluetooth-Only Mobile Connectivity

Pairing is handled entirely inside the Nelko app — the printer does not appear in the phone system Bluetooth menu and it does not work with computers. Android 14 devices are explicitly unsupported, so buyers who need PC printing or Google-phone compatibility should look elsewhere.
