The Honeywell VisionPRO 8000 is a programmable touchscreen thermostat designed for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. It supports RedLINK accessories and connects directly to equipment or through an Equipment Interface Module. Installers can duplicate setup configurations between units using a microSD card. On-screen dealer information and customizable alerts help maintain ongoing service relationships.

Staging Capacity and System Limits

The thermostat controls up to three heating and two cooling stages for heat pump systems or two heating and two cooling stages for conventional systems. It does not support additional stages beyond these limits, so larger multi-zone or multi-stage installations would require separate controls. The microSD card copies installer settings but does not expand the staging capability of the unit itself.

RedLINK Wireless Integration

RedLINK technology links the thermostat to compatible accessories and the RedLINK Internet Gateway for remote access. The wireless link requires the THM5421R1021 Equipment Interface Module when not wired directly to the equipment. Without the gateway or supported RedLINK accessories, remote monitoring and advanced features are unavailable.
