Compact Ergonomic Mouse Pad

The HOPONY HWMINI-MP-17 mouse pad measures 8.75 by 7.5 inches with a 0.1 inch profile. It integrates a raised gel wrist rest 0.7 inches thick for forearm support. The Lycra cloth surface is designed for precise optical tracking. A non-slip PU base keeps the pad fixed on the desk.

Upgrade From Flat Pads

This pad replaces a standard flat mouse mat when wrist fatigue appears during long sessions. The gel-filled rest conforms to the wrist contour to reduce pressure points. The jump is worth it if you experience discomfort after hours of mousing. It adds ergonomic support without requiring a larger desk footprint.

Limits Of The Cloth Surface

The Lycra top layer provides consistent glide for optical sensors but can absorb moisture over time. The gel insert retains heat against the skin during extended use. The 8.75 by 7.5 inch area restricts broad sweeping motions. The 0.1 inch base offers minimal cushioning on hard surfaces.

Questions about this item

How much desk space does the 8.75 x 7.5 in pad need?

The pad occupies 8.75 by 7.5 inches on the desk, with a 0.1 in profile and a 0.7 in thick wrist rest that raises the wrist 18 mm above the surface.

What is the step users often miss when placing the pad?

Press the non-slip PU base firmly onto a clean, dry desktop so the gel-filled wrist rest stays level and the Lycra surface tracks consistently.

When should the pad be replaced?

Replace it when the Lycra cloth wears smooth, the gel rest loses rebound, or the PU base no longer grips the desk.
