Premium 1/6 Scale Darth Maul Collectible

This Hot Toys DX17 VIP figure captures Darth Maul from Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace at 1/6 scale. It stands approximately 12.2 inches tall and features 30 movable points for dynamic posing. The set includes a detailed Sith Speeder vehicle and two interchangeable head sculpts for display versatility. Recommended for collectors aged 14 and above.

LED Lightsaber and Illuminated Speeder Accessories

The double-bladed lightsaber includes an LED light-up function for authentic ignition effects. The Sith Speeder vehicle also features integrated LED lighting to replicate its on-screen appearance. A Sith probe droid and multiple interchangeable hands are bundled to expand posing options.

Display Space and Power Requirements

The combined figure and speeder assembly measures roughly 35 cm in height and demands significant shelf depth for stable presentation. Verify that your display area accommodates the vehicle footprint and figure articulation range. LED features on both the lightsaber and speeder need a power source; confirm battery compatibility before ordering. This item is not suited for buyers seeking a compact, non-illuminated statue or those without room for a large vehicle accessory.

Questions about this item

Will the LED lights on the double-bladed lightsaber and Sith Speeder need battery replacement over time?

Yes, the LED light-up functions on both the double-bladed lightsaber and the Sith Speeder are battery powered, so the batteries will eventually need replacing to maintain the illuminated effects.

Which joint is most likely to loosen first when the figure is repeatedly posed using its 30 movable points?

The smaller joints in the wrists and ankles tend to loosen before the larger hip or shoulder joints because they handle finer movements and more frequent angle changes during posing.

Does the plastic material or the LED components generate noticeable heat when the lights are left on for extended display periods?

The LEDs used in the lightsaber and speeder run at low voltage and produce minimal heat, so the surrounding plastic parts remain at room temperature even after hours of continuous illumination.
