Hot Toys The Boss 1:6 Scale Figure

This Hot Toys collectible reproduces The Boss from Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater in sixth-scale format. The 12-inch figure uses a TrueType body with 28 points of articulation for a wide range of poses. It is aimed at adult collectors who want a screen-accurate representation of the character.

Upgrade from standard action figures

Mass-market figures typically offer fewer articulation points and simpler tailoring. This release provides a fully tailored sneaking suit, a fabric cape and a detailed Davy Crockett launcher with case. The jump is worth it when display accuracy and pose versatility matter more than basic play value.

Suits Metal Gear Solid display collectors

The accessory set includes six interchangeable palms, the Patriot weapon, a CQC knife with magnet and a branded stand with nameplate. Buyers who only need a small desk toy or who prefer smaller-scale lines should look at something else.

Questions about this item

How much shelf depth does the 12-inch figure with its stand and nameplate require?

The included figure stand with The Boss nameplate and video game logo supports the 12-inch figure upright; allow roughly the figure's footprint plus the base depth for stable display.

Which of the 28 articulation points need loosening before the first pose to avoid joint stress?

Gently move each joint — shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees, ankles — through its full range once before posing; this distributes lubricant and prevents stuck or ratcheted joints from snapping.

What replacement parts are available if the CQC knife magnet or interchangeable palms wear out?

Hot Toys does not sell individual spare palms, magnets or knives; contact their official support for repair options or source compatible 1:6-scale accessories from third-party makers.
