Diecast War Machine 1/6 Figure

This Hot Toys MMS331D13 collectible reproduces the War Machine armor from Iron Man 2 at 1/6 scale. The figure stands approximately 32 cm tall and features a diecast construction with metallic black and silver finishes. A newly developed helmeted head sculpt captures the likeness of Don Cheadle as James Rhodes. Thirty points of articulation allow a wide range of display poses.

LED Light-Up Helmet and Weapon Effects

Integrated LED functions illuminate the interchangeable helmet and the back-mounted machine gun. Battle-damaged armor parts for the head, shoulder, chest and back swap with the standard pieces to recreate the final showdown appearance. Hidden shoulder compartments open to reveal additional weapon details. No batteries are mentioned in the supplied data.

Display Stand and Build Integration

A specially designed diorama figure stand based on the film's climactic battle is included for shelf presentation. The 35 cm packaged height suits standard collector cabinets. The manufacturer recommends the item for ages 14 and up, making it unsuitable for younger children. Buyers seeking a smaller scale or non-diecast alternative will need a different product line.

Questions about this item

How do I install the LED light-up helmet and where is the hidden battery compartment people forget?

The helmet uses a built-in LED unit powered by button cells housed inside the helmet shell; remove the faceplate carefully to access the battery tray, then reseat the plate so the magnets lock before posing the figure.

Which parts will need replacement after long-term display?

The LED button cells inside the helmet and back-mounted machine gun will dim over time and are the only consumable components; all diecast armor joints and 30 movable points are rated for static posing without wear.

At what point does the diecast frame become too heavy for the included stand during sustained posing?

The 31-inch tall diecast figure weighs enough that dynamic airborne poses stress the diorama stand’s single peg; keep the center of gravity over the base or use a secondary support for action angles.
