Scale and Audience

This Hot Toys MMS371 figure reproduces the Iron Man 3 Disco Mark XXVII armor at 1/6 scale. It stands approximately 31 cm tall and carries the manufacturer recommended age of 14. The piece is aimed at collectors who want the Chameleon Suit for a House Party Protocol display.

Handling and Lighting

The figure offers over 30 points of articulation for posing, while the LED eyes and chest reactor use white light powered by batteries. Swapping the missile-firing shoulder armor and the three pairs of interchangeable hands requires careful alignment of small pegs. Painted metallic blue and orange surfaces can show handling marks if gripped too firmly.

Display Scope and Limits

The 35 cm packaged height confirms a shelf footprint suited to standard detolf or cabinet spacing. The 30 movable joints support a wide range of flight and combat poses, but the single white LED colour and fixed battery placement limit custom lighting scenes. Buyers who want more storage or alternate reactor colours will need a different release.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the LED light-up eyes and chest RT are functioning after unboxing?

Insert the required batteries into the figure's battery compartment, then switch on the LED function; the eyes and the circular chest RT should glow with white light to show they are working.

Which accessories are included and what must I purchase separately?

The box contains the 1/6th scale figure with over 30 points of articulation, one pair of interchangeable missile-firing shoulder armor, and three pairs of interchangeable hands (fists, relaxed, repulsor); batteries for the LED lights are not included.

Should I choose the 31 cm or 35 cm version of this Mark XXVII figure?

The specifications list the figure height as approximately 31 cm (12.2 inches), so the 31 cm measurement is the correct one for this release.
