This Hot Toys MMS461 figure stands approximately 12.2 inches tall and features over 30 points of articulation. It is made with diecast material and includes a newly painted head sculpt of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. The figure is recommended for ages 14 and up and appeals to collectors of movie-accurate Marvel memorabilia.

Diecast construction with LED light-up features

The figure incorporates LED light-up functions in the eyes, palms, and arc reactor for display authenticity. It comes with an interchangeable LED light-up helmet, interchangeable shoulder and forearm weapon-firing armor parts, and a figure stand. Accessories also include sunglasses, a donut, and a coffee cup from a memorable film scene.

Articulation and display constraints

The figure offers 30 movable points allowing for various dynamic poses on the included stand. Its diecast construction adds weight that may require careful balancing during posing. The LED functions require a power source not detailed in the specifications. The 1/6 scale size dictates a specific display footprint.

Questions about this item

Will the LED light-up helmet, eyes, palms and arc reactor need battery replacements?

Yes, the LED functions in the helmet, eyes, palms and arc reactor are battery-powered and will require periodic battery changes to maintain illumination.

What is the first limitation when posing the figure for long display periods?

The 30 movable points provide extensive articulation, but the diecast armor weight may stress joints over time, so the included figure stand is essential for sustained posing.

Does the diecast construction make the figure run hot or draw power when displayed all day?

No, the diecast material is passive and generates no heat; only the LED lighting uses batteries, so there is no thermal or power draw concern during continuous display.
