Collectible Scale and Height

This 1/6 scale Iron Man Mark IV figure stands approximately 12.2 inches tall and is manufactured by Hot Toys as part of the MMS Diecast Series. It features a newly painted head sculpt with an authentic likeness of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. The set includes a Suit-Up Gantry accessory for display purposes. It is recommended for ages 14 and up.

Diecast Construction and Articulation

The figure contains diecast metal components and offers over 30 points of enhanced articulation for dynamic posing. An interchangeable helmeted head with LED light-up function adds display versatility. This set replaces standard PVC figures with a premium diecast build. The upgrade is worth it for collectors who prioritize material weight and poseability.

Display Stability and Lighting

The diecast construction provides a solid centre of gravity that keeps poses stable on the gantry during long-term display. LED illumination runs on battery power for consistent white light without external cables. The articulated joints hold position reliably under the figure's own weight. Collectors seeking electronic features beyond the helmet light will not find them here.

Questions about this item

What shelf height is needed for the 32 cm figure and gantry?

The set stands approximately 32 cm tall, so allow at least 35 cm of vertical clearance for the gantry arms to move freely.

How are the LED eyes powered and where is the battery door?

The helmeted head uses button-cell batteries accessed by removing the faceplate; insert cells with the positive side facing the LED module before snapping the plate back.

Which joints should be lubricated to keep the 30 articulation points smooth?

Apply a tiny drop of PTFE grease to the die-cast shoulder, hip and ankle pivots once a year; avoid the painted surfaces to prevent staining.
