1/6 scale Newt Scamander figure

The Hot Toys MMS512 presents a 1/6 scale collectible figure of Newt Scamander from Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. It features a newly developed head sculpt capturing the likeness of Eddie Redmayne as the magizoologist. The set includes a bespoke charcoal gray suit and coat along with multiple magical creatures and accessories. This item suits collectors of film-accurate memorabilia.

Static display with articulated joints

The figure stands approximately 12.2 inches (31 cm) tall and offers 30 movable points for posing. As a plastic collectible intended for display, it generates no noise, draws no power and produces no heat during normal use. Multi-colour finishes on the costume and accessories are applied by hand. Handling is limited to occasional repositioning on a shelf or in a display cabinet.

Upgrades basic statues to poseable detail

This piece replaces static PVC statues or smaller-scale figures that lack articulation and tailored clothing. The jump is worth it for buyers who want a screen-accurate representation with interchangeable hands and creature companions for dynamic scenes. It does not serve buyers who need playset durability, electronic features or a smaller footprint for crowded shelves.

Questions about this item

How do I attach the coat without snapping the 30 articulation points?

Slip the coat over the head first, then guide each arm through the sleeves; forcing the arms after the coat is on can pop the shoulder pegs out of their sockets.

Which accessory will need replacement first if displayed long-term?

The fabric coat and suit may develop permanent creases or colour fading after months of posing; the plastic wand and case pieces stay stable indefinitely.

What physical limit appears first when the figure stays in a dynamic pose for weeks?

The 30 movable joints can gradually loosen, causing the 12.2‑inch figure to lean or slump under its own weight.
