1/6 Scale Captain Marvel Figure

This Hot Toys MMS521 collectible reproduces Brie Larson as Carol Danvers from the 2019 film at 1/6 scale. It stands approximately 12.2 inches tall and features 30 movable points for dynamic posing. The figure includes two interchangeable head sculpts, one with LED light-up eyes and another unmasked portrait with rooted hair. Designed for display collectors aged 14 and above.

Installation and Common Issues

The figure arrives assembled with the default head and hands attached; swapping heads or adding the Mohawk hair pieces requires gentle pressure on the ball-jointed neck and scalp pegs. LED functions on the helmeted head and forearms are powered by pre-installed button cells that are not user-replaceable without disassembly. Over-tightening joints or forcing the hair sculptures onto the wrong head sculpt can stress the pegs. Handle the metallic fabric costume carefully to avoid snagging on joint articulation.

Ideal Buyers and Limits

Suits Marvel Cinematic Universe collectors who want a screen-accurate Captain Marvel with light-up power effects and premium articulation for shelf display. The 1/6 scale demands significant shelf depth and a dust-controlled environment. Buyers seeking a toy for rough play, a smaller scale for tight spaces, or a version without electronic features should consider other formats. The fixed LED batteries mean the light-up function has a finite lifespan.
