Questions about this item

How is the figure assembled out of the box and what step do collectors often miss?

The 1/6 scale figure arrives fully assembled on its base; the step often missed is swapping the standard masked head for the unmasked Peter Parker head sculpt and selecting the desired magnetic eye pieces before posing the 30 articulation points.

What parts will need replacement after extended display?

The interchangeable eye pieces, fabric suit sections and joint pegs on the 30 movable points can loosen or wear over time; Hot Toys sells spare eye sets and joint pins separately for the MMS542.

At what point does the figure become unstable during long posing sessions?

With 30 articulation points and a 12.2 inch height, the centre of gravity shifts once the legs are spread wider than shoulder width; the included figure stand must be locked to the back peg to prevent tipping.
