1/6 Scale Iron Man Mark XXI Midas

The Hot Toys MMS586 is a 1/6 scale collectible figure of the Midas armour from Iron Man 3. It stands approximately 12.2 inches tall and features 30 movable points for a wide range of poses. The figure is crafted from diecast and plastic with mixed metallic gold, silver and bronze paint plus additional chrome detailing. It is recommended for ages 14 and up.

Diecast construction with 30 articulation points

The figure uses diecast parts for weight and durability while the 30 articulation points allow dynamic positioning of the high-altitude suit. LED light-up functions are integrated into the helmeted head, upper body, back and chest Arc Reactor for display impact. Interchangeable armour parts and multiple hand sculpts replicate iconic poses from the House Party Protocol scene. No electronics beyond the installed LEDs are included.

Hot Toys Exclusive with dynamic display stand

As a Hot Toys Exclusive item, the figure ships with a branded dynamic stand bearing the movie logo for stable shelf presentation. The 35 cm height requires adequate vertical clearance in a display cabinet. LED illumination runs on internal batteries accessed within the figure; no external power supply or wiring is needed. Collectors seeking a non-exclusive release or a different Mark variant will need a separate product.

Questions about this item

Will the 1/6 scale and 30 movable points let this figure fit with my older Hot Toys Iron Man suits on the same shelf?

At 31 cm tall with 30 articulation points the Midas Mark XXI matches the 1/6 scale used across the line so it aligns with earlier releases on a shared display.

How can I verify the LED light-up helmet head chest Arc Reactor and upper body LEDs are functioning after I unbox it?

Switch on the figure using its internal battery compartment; the helmet eyes chest Arc Reactor and upper body accents should glow steadily in gold and silver tones.

Which interchangeable armor parts hands and stand come in the box and what must I purchase separately?

The package includes the diecast figure multiple articulated hands assorted armor plates and a branded dynamic stand; no extra accessories are required for the displayed configuration.
