Scale and audience

The Hot Toys MMS611 is a 1/6 scale collectible figure of the Scout Trooper from Star Wars Return of the Jedi. It stands approximately 12.2 inches or 31 centimeters tall and is made from plastic with fabric elements. The manufacturer recommends it for ages 14 and up, targeting teen and adult collectors who value movie accuracy.

Installation and common issues

The figure arrives assembled on a themed display stand so no complex build is required. It features 30 movable points allowing a wide range of poses but the joints can feel stiff at first and may need gentle working. The weathered helmet and armor finish is delicate so handle with clean hands to avoid marking the distress effects.

Pre-purchase checks

Confirm you have enough shelf height for the 31 centimeter figure plus the display stand. The multicolor paint and weathering are factory applied so expect minor variation between units. This release includes a blaster pistol and blaster rifle only; buyers who want speeder bike accessories or additional troopers will need separate purchases.

Questions about this item

How do I confirm the 30 movable points are all functioning after unboxing?

Gently articulate each of the 30 joints — shoulders, elbows, wrists, hips, knees and ankles — and verify they hold pose without stiffness or looseness.

Which accessories are included with the MMS611 and what must I purchase separately?

The figure comes with a newly developed helmet, distressed armor, tailored fabric body suit, blaster pistol, blaster rifle and a themed display stand; no extra items are required for the core display.

Should I choose the 31 cm or 35 cm version of this Scout Trooper?

The collectible measures approximately 12.2 inches (31 cm) in height; the 35 cm figure refers to the box dimension, so select the standard 1/6th scale release.
