Scale and audience

This 1/6 scale Hot Toys MMS725 figure depicts Miles G. Morales as The Prowler from Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. It is aimed at collectors aged 14 and above who appreciate detailed movie-accurate representations. The multicolour plastic figure stands approximately 35 cm tall.

Articulation and lighting features

The figure offers 30 points of articulation for a wide range of dynamic poses. It includes a newly developed head sculpt with a separate rolling eyeball system and a masked head featuring an LED light-up function in purplish red. Additional LED lighted Prowler gauntlets and sneakers with luminous reflective effects enhance the display presence.

Costume detail and display considerations

A mixed-media costume recreates the futuristic purple-toned outfit with a tall standing collar jacket, backpack, printed shirt, pants and sculpted utility belt. The combined LED elements on the masked head, gauntlets and sneakers provide a cohesive illuminated display suitable for low-light shelves. Collectors seeking a version with alternate accessories or an unmasked portrait only should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How do I install the batteries for the LED light-up function on the masked head, and what step is often missed?

Open the battery compartment inside the masked head, insert the required button cells matching the polarity markings, then ensure the cover clicks fully shut; the separate rolling eyeball system on the unmasked head does not use power.

What maintenance will the mixed-media costume and 30 movable points need over time?

Dust the jacket, printed shirt, pants and sculpted utility belt with a soft brush; occasionally check the 30 articulation joints for stiffness and apply a tiny dab of silicone lubricant if movement becomes tight.

At what point does the purplish-red LED on the masked head or gauntlets show reduced brightness during sustained display?

The LEDs are designed for continuous display use; brightness will only diminish when the button cells inside the masked head and gauntlets are depleted, which typically occurs after many hours of constant illumination.
