1/6th scale Xenomorph collectible

The Hot Toys MMS826 Alien Big Chap figure reproduces the 1979 film drone at 36 cm tall with a newly developed head sculpt showing internal structures under a translucent carapace. An articulated jaw and extendable inner jaw allow dynamic facial expressions. A silicone body is meticulously painted and sculpted for organic realism.

For display collectors aged 14 and up

This piece suits adult collectors who want a movie-accurate centrepiece with ultra-realistic sculpting and tailored detailing. It is not intended for rough play, outdoor use or buyers seeking a poseable toy for younger children. The fragile translucent carapace and silicone skin require careful handling.

Check shelf height and display stability

Ensure your display area can accommodate a figure roughly 36 cm tall with enough clearance for the extended inner jaw and tail articulation. A stable, vibration-free shelf or cabinet is recommended to protect the painted silicone surface and delicate translucent head details.

Questions about this item

Does the 1/6th scale Big Chap figure require a separate display stand to stand upright?

The figure is designed to stand on its own at approximately 36 cm tall, so no extra stand is needed for basic display.

Can the 1/6th scale Big Chap be posed alongside the original 1979 Kenner Alien figures without looking out of place?

At 36 cm the Big Chap is significantly larger than the vintage 1979 figures, so it will dominate a shared shelf rather than blend in scale.

How can I confirm the extendable inner jaw mechanism is functioning correctly after unboxing?

Gently slide the inner jaw forward; it should extend smoothly from the articulated mouth and retract cleanly when released.
