Identity & Audience

This Hot Toys MMS835 Star Wars Empire Strikes Back Snowtrooper Commander is a 1/6th scale collectible figure for adult fans aged 14 and above. The movie-accurate design features a finely crafted helmet, flocked-texture coat and rank badge. Limited to 3,000 units, it suits display collectors who value ultra-realistic sculpting.

Upgrade Context

It replaces generic background trooper figures by adding the specific commander rank insignia, tailored uniform layers and two distinct blaster accessories. The jump is worth it when a display needs the officer who directed the Hoth assault rather than rank-and-file infantry.

Sustained Behaviour

The plastic construction and tailored costume materials maintain their detailed appearance during long-term shelf display without degradation. Flocked textures and painted rank markings resist fading under normal indoor lighting conditions. The figure remains stable on its base through extended exhibition periods.

Questions about this item

Does the 1/6th scale figure need a special stand to stay upright?

The figure includes a standard Hot Toys display base; position the boots firmly on the pegs and balance the coat so the centre of gravity stays low.

How do I attach the flocked coat without tearing the seam?

Slide the coat over the helmet first, then ease the arms through the sleeves before fastening the utility belt — forcing the head through last stretches the neck opening.

Will the red and blue rank badge fade or peel over time?

The badge is tampo-printed on the chest armour; keep the figure away from direct sunlight and handle with clean hands to preserve the colours.
