1/4 Scale Batman Collectible

This Hot Toys QS001 figure stands approximately 18.5 inches or 47 cm tall and features 30 movable points for dynamic posing. It is crafted from plastic with a fabric costume and three interchangeable heads, including one with a light-up sonar vision device. The piece is a new, movie-accurate representation of Christian Bale as Batman from The Dark Knight Rises.

Adult collectors and display enthusiasts

The manufacturer recommends this item for ages 14 and up, making it suitable for teen and adult collectors who value screen-accurate detail and articulation. It is not intended for rough play or younger children due to the delicate fabric elements, small interchangeable parts and button-cell operated light feature. Buyers seeking a toy for active daily use should consider more durable alternatives.

Display presence and articulation limits

At 1/4 scale the figure commands significant shelf space and serves as a centrepiece for a movie memorabilia collection. The 30 articulation points allow a wide range of iconic poses, while the separate eyeball rolling system adds realism to the standard head. The fabric cape and armour restrict extreme joint angles, and the light-up head requires button cells that are not included, limiting continuous illuminated display.

Questions about this item

Does this figure need any batteries to operate the light-up sonar eyes?

The alternate head with sonar vision uses button cells to power its light-up eyes; these are not included with the figure.

Will the 1/4 scale Batman fit on a standard 1/6 scale display shelf?

At 47 cm tall this figure is significantly larger than 1/6 scale figures, so it requires a shelf with at least 18.5 inches of vertical clearance.

How can I confirm the eyeball rolling mechanism works after unboxing?

Gently move the main Batman head side to side; the separate eyeball rolling system should let the eyes track independently without resistance.
