Sixth-Scale Superman Figure

This Hot Toys MMS152 figure reproduces Christopher Reeve as Superman from the 1978 film. It stands approximately 12 inches tall with a newly sculpted muscular body offering over 30 points of articulation. The hand-painted head sculpt captures detailed wrinkles and texture alongside a precise hair sculpture. A Fortress of Solitude themed stage and branded nameplate complete the display base.

Upgrade From Basic Statues

Collectors seeking movie-accurate likeness and poseability will value the articulated body and interchangeable hands. The jump is worth it when a static statue cannot recreate iconic flying or fighting poses. Three pairs of palms — relaxed, fists and fighting — allow the figure to hold different attitudes without swapping parts. The one-piece fabric costume with cape moves naturally with the articulation.

Straightforward Shelf Setup

The figure arrives in themed Superman packaging ready for display. Assembly is limited to attaching the chosen hands and positioning the figure on the included stand. The main risk is stressing the fabric costume or cape when forcing joints beyond their range. Handle the hand-painted head gently to avoid paint transfer, and keep the donation note for the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation with the box.
