1/6 Scale Captain America Figure

This Hot Toys TMS040 figure presents Sam Wilson as Captain America from The Falcon and the Winter Soldier finale. The 1/6 scale collectible stands approximately 12.2 inches tall and features a newly developed head sculpt with face gaiter and goggles. It is designed for collectors aged 14 and above who value screen-accurate Marvel representation.

Upgrade From Basic Figures

The figure replaces standard static display pieces with 30 movable points and highly poseable mechanical wings spanning approximately 80cm wide. The jump is worth it for enthusiasts who need articulated flight poses and detailed accessory integration. A tactical outfit, iconic shield, flight backpack and Redwing drone complete the premium package for serious display.

Poseable Wing Display Limits

The massive 80cm wingspan demands significant horizontal shelf clearance that standard detolf cabinets may not accommodate. The mechanical wing joints support dynamic positioning but require careful balancing during extended posing. Collectors with limited display depth should measure available space before committing to this large-scale release.

Questions about this item

How much shelf depth does the 35 cm figure with 80 cm wingspan require?

The wingspan stretches to roughly 80 cm, so allow at least that much clear width plus a few centimetres for the base; depth is modest because the figure stands about 31 cm tall.

Which parts must be attached during assembly, and what is the common mistake?

The flight backpack, Redwing drone and the two mechanical wing sections clip onto the figure; the step often missed is fully seating each wing hinge until it clicks, otherwise the wings sag.

What upkeep will the 30 movable joints and fabric elements need over time?

Occasionally dust the joints with a soft brush and avoid forcing poses beyond their natural stop; the fabric gaiter and outfit can be spot-cleaned with a barely damp cloth.
