Scale and character

The Hot Toys VGM70 is a 1/6th scale collectible figure of Darth Malgus from Star Wars: The Old Republic. It is aimed at adult collectors aged 14 and above who value movie-accurate detail and premium display pieces. The figure captures the menacing presence of the Sith Lord with a meticulously crafted head sculpt featuring separate rolling eyeballs.

Illumination and articulation

A newly sculpted detachable mask includes LED lighting, while the tailored armor features light-up gauntlets and a chest plate with an illuminated control panel. These integrated LEDs draw power from the figure's specialized body to maintain consistent brightness across the head, armor and included lightsaber during extended display periods. An adjustable themed circular base provides additional lighting for dynamic posing.

Material and compatibility

The figure is constructed primarily from plastic with a tailored fabric costume, limiting its tolerance for rough handling or outdoor environments. The LED components require a power source not detailed in the specifications, so buyers should verify battery requirements before purchase. Collectors seeking a smaller scale or non-illuminated version will not find those options in this release.
