Interior LED Kit for Car Floors and Dash

The Hotai 12 LED 5050SMD kit provides four light bars with a 180-degree radiation angle for cabin illumination. It draws power from a cigarette lighter or USB socket without permanent wiring changes. Control is handled by an infrared receiver and a smartphone app, offering music-reactive modes, colour selection, brightness adjustment and fade effects.

Drivers Wanting App-Based Ambient Light Without

Suits owners who want quick installation and wireless colour changes synced to music. Not for buyers who need a handheld remote with battery included, those requiring a fixed-colour single-tone strip, or anyone needing a hard-wired solution that integrates with factory switches.

Check Power Source and Remote Battery Before Fitting

Verify the vehicle has an accessible 12 V cigarette lighter or USB port to supply the kit. Confirm the infrared receiver can be positioned where the remote or app signal reaches it. The remote requires a CR2025 or CR2032 cell, which is not supplied due to shipping restrictions.

Questions about this item

Does this kit need a 12 V cigarette-lighter socket or a USB port to operate?

It plugs into either a cigarette lighter or a USB socket, so no permanent wiring is required.

Will the 180-degree radiation angle cover both footwells when the strips are mounted under the dash?

Yes, the wide 180-degree spread lights both front foot areas from a single under-dash position.

How can I confirm the 5050 SMD LEDs are responding to music after pairing the app?

Play a track; the four strips should pulse and shift colour in time with the beat across the 7 RGB hues.
