2U 12-Bay SAS Chassis

This 2U rackmount chassis holds twelve 3.5-inch hot-swap drive bays and fits a standard 19-inch rack. It is built from 1.0 mm SGCC zinc-coated steel and supports motherboards up to 12 by 10.5 inches. The unit targets storage-heavy workloads such as cloud storage, big data and security monitoring.

Included 600W PSU and Three Fans

A Great Wall 2U 600 W power supply ships installed, removing the need to source a separate unit. Three 8038 ball-bearing fans are fitted as standard, with mounting positions for a fourth fan if extra airflow is required. Two front USB 2.0 ports are provided, with USB 3.0 available as an option.

12 Gb/s SAS Backplane and Seven PCIe Slots

The backplane operates at 12 Gb/s MINI SAS with a temperature control chipset, while also supporting 6 Gb/s SATA and SAS drives. Seven full-height PCI or PCIe expansion slots are available for add-in cards. Buyers needing more than twelve drive bays or a smaller form factor will need a different chassis.
