2U 8-Bay Rackmount Chassis

This 2U rackmount server chassis fits a standard 19-inch rack and measures 437.5mm wide by 650mm deep by 88mm high. It is built from 1.0mm SGCC zinc-coated steel and supports motherboards up to 12 inches by 13 inches. The unit provides seven full-height PCI or PCIe expansion slots for add-in cards.

Suited for high-density storage builds

The chassis holds eight hot-swap 3.5-inch drive bays compatible with SATA II, SATA III, SAS II and SAS III drives at 6Gb/s. An optional slim CD-ROM bay can also accept a 2.5-inch SSD or HDD. Cooling is handled by three included 8025 AVC ball-bearing fans, with space for a fourth. Front I/O includes two USB 2.0 ports, with USB 3.0 available as an option.

12Gb/s MINI SAS backplane

A 12Gb/s MINI SAS backplane with a temperature control chipset is fitted, alongside 6Gb/s SATA and 6Gb/s MINI SAS backplanes. This configuration decides whether the chassis can serve NVMe or high-speed SAS storage directly. Power options cover a single 2U standard supply or a redundant power supply. System LEDs and switches provide full front-panel status and control.
