3U 16-Bay SAS Server Chassis

This 3U rackmount chassis holds sixteen 3.5-inch hot-swappable drive bays with a 6Gb/s SAS backplane and temperature control chipset. It supports motherboards up to 12 x 13 inches and fits a standard 19-inch rack. The steel frame uses 1.0mm SGCC zinc-coated material for durability.

Build Integration Requirements

The unit requires a 2U standard or redundant power supply and provides seven full-height PCI/PCIe expansion slots for add-in cards. Three 12038L ball-bearing fans handle airflow across the drive bays and motherboard area. Front-panel USB 2.0 ports are included with optional USB 3.0 upgrades available.

Front Panel and Monitoring

System controls include power and reset switches, UID button, and LEDs for power, HDD activity, dual NIC status, UID, overheat or fan failure, and power failure. These indicators let operators monitor chassis health without opening the rack. The backplane options cover both mini-SAS and expander configurations.
