A 4U rackmount chassis holding eight 3.5-inch drives on a 12 Gb/s SAS backplane with eleven full-height PCIe slots and dual 8038 plus triple 12038 fans for GPU workloads
The HOTCFWQ G465-08 is a new 4U server chassis built for dense storage deployments. It fits a standard 19-inch rack and holds eight 3.5-inch drive bays that also accept 2.5-inch drives. The enclosure is made from 1.0 mm SGCC steel with an anti-fingerprint finish. It supports motherboards up to 12 by 13 inches.
A 12Gb/s mini SAS backplane with a temperature control chipset links the drive bays, and a 6Gb/s option is available. The chassis accommodates CRPS power supplies up to 2000 W using the included rear power panel. Eleven full-height vertical PCIe slots provide room for GPU or accelerator cards. Two front USB 2.0 ports are standard, with USB 3.0 offered as an option.
Cooling comes from three 12038H ball-bearing fans installed as standard, while the rear panel has positions for four 8038 fans with two fitted by default. The system control panel includes power, reset, UID and multiple status LEDs for power, fan and drive health. Buyers needing front USB 3.0 or a 6Gb/s backplane must specify those options at purchase. Builders requiring more than eight drive bays or a different motherboard form factor should consider other platforms.

The ball-bearing fans are rated for long life; expect to clean dust from the 120 mm and 80 mm rotors periodically and replace any unit that develops bearing noise or vibration.
The backplane delivers 12 Gb/s per lane to each of the 8 drive bays, while the CRPS supply caps total system draw at 2000 W; whichever threshold your workload hits first becomes the practical limit.
Three 12038H and two 8038 ball-bearing fans move substantial airflow; the 1.0 mm SGCC steel body conducts heat away, but exact decibel and thermal figures depend on the components you install inside.
