The HOTCFWQ G465-24 is a 4U rackmount chassis built for high-density storage deployments. It accommodates twenty-four 3.5-inch hot-plug drive bays that also accept 2.5-inch drives. A 12Gb/s SAS expander backplane with a temperature-control chipset handles drive connectivity. The enclosure targets storage-heavy workloads such as backup arrays, media archives or software-defined storage clusters.

12Gb/s SAS backplane with CRPS power support

The chassis fits a motherboard up to 12 by 13 inches and provides eleven full-height vertical PCIe slots for multi-GPU or HBA expansion. Three 12038H ball-bearing fans and two rear 8038 fans deliver directed airflow across the drive bays. Power is supplied through a standard CRPS redundant PSU bracket rated below 2000 W. Front-panel USB 2.0 ports and a full set of system LEDs simplify local management.

Upgrade from smaller 2U or 12-bay enclosures

Moving to this 24-bay 4U platform makes sense when a 12-bay 2U chassis runs out of drive slots or PCIe space for additional RAID controllers.
