Two-piece turner set

The HOTEC GC-R02 set contains a solid and a slotted silicone turner, each 13.7 inches long with stainless steel handles. Food-grade silicone heads are rated to 600°F and are BPA-free. Designed for home cooks who need heat-resistant tools that will not scratch nonstick coatings.

Check cookware and cleaning needs

Verify that your pans can accommodate a 13.7 by 3.2 inch head and that the .1 inch thickness suits the foods you turn. The stainless steel handles add rigidity but conduct heat, so consider using a mitt on very hot surfaces. Dishwasher-safe construction simplifies cleanup.

Sustained heat and repeated use

Silicone heads maintain flexibility and do not degrade at the rated 600°F during long searing or griddle sessions. Stainless steel cores prevent handle flex when lifting heavy items such as burgers or fish fillets. Hanging loops allow air drying between batches to keep the utensils ready for continuous service.

Questions about this item

What comes in the HOTEC GC-R02 set and is anything else needed?

The set includes two 13.7-inch silicone turners — one solid and one slotted — each with a stainless steel handle and hanging loop. Nothing else is required.

Which version should I choose between the solid and slotted spatula?

Both are included. Use the solid turner for pancakes, burgers and delicate fish; use the slotted turner when you need fat or liquid to drain away.

How does the 600°F heat rating work on a real stove?

The food-grade silicone heads tolerate brief contact up to 600°F, so they will not melt or degrade on hot griddles, skillets or frying pans during normal cooking.
